I have no doubt in my mind that the UAE is teeming with lots of young men and women who are capable of responding to that calling and I am also confident that they have the ability to grasp modern technology. Our training is geared towards producing effective and productive pilots in a secure and safe environment. Safety and quality is our hallmark. Horizon International Flight Academy, wholly owned by Mubadala Development Company, has appointed a new interim GM as part of its plans to implement a commercially driven growth strategy to expand its world-class pilot training services and introduce new product offerings to its existing and future customers.
This move follows an extensive review of operations and performance by Mubadala Aerospace, with a focus on streamlining the business, increasing efficiencies, improving global competitiveness and transitioning Horizon into a world-class international academy.
Mansour Al Faheem, a senior manager with Mubadala Aerospace and a board member of Horizon, has assumed the position of interim GM where he will lead Horizon’s new growth strategy and establish synergies with other Mubadala Aerospace companies and partners.
Upon his appointment, Mansour said:
“Our major objective is to become a leading global flight training organization operating from the UAE. The new direction of horizon is to provide the highest standard training solutions for both Fixed wing and Rotary wing training. It is our goal to invest in the development of individuals and the development of a new generation of pilots. We will work closely with our partners and our customers to achieve this endeavor”
